So, I'm playing for tips. Here are a few I've earned:

Don't take anything personally.

Smile.

Make eye contact. (And gently look away.)

Always stay a little longer after you feel like quitting.

Quit on a high note.

Pause to re-tune.

Stand tall.

Sing from your heart.

Don't think so much.

Play all the songs you know.

Play the songs you don't think you know very well. (Those will bring unexpected rewards.)

Be content without being noticed.

Be noticed being content.
